Francisco Amorim is a Brazilian data journalist with a PhD in Sociology. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow funded by the Research Support Foundation of Rio Grande do Sul at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He is also affiliated with the Violence and Citizenship and the Digital Journalism research groups at the same institution.
